Chatswood Primary School

Much of today was taken up with a school look-in at Chatswood.
What a COOL bunch of kids … and especially those Kindergarten students who performed a most excellent rendition of the alphabet song – complete with drama!!!
This was all part of their Literacy Honour Assemby that was due to be held at the end of last term … but a bit of flu got in the way of that!
My task was to read from my books and just enjoy the time there … and I DID! Oh and I spoke a bit too about the importance of reading and all the reading times a family can share. And at the primary assembly it was all about using your imagination … i don’t think head bands will ever be seen the same again at that school!
Thanks too to the year 5 students who created those wonderful posters of my books that were part of the assembly display.
Cheers All.
