This week has been very much part of the non writing side of the author’s life. On Sunday I flew up to Brisbane and then drove to Toowoomba to present on Monday at the Science and Techonology Forum at Toowoomba State High School. First a keynote and then a workshop – not only do i get paid but they also gave me a lovely glass sculpture! Then it has been a few days of clean up, and blogging a few new entries to the newkidsbooksinoz blog, while today has been spent preparing for the Apple Distinguished Educators Retreat at the Austrlian Museum where I will be presenting a talk — from Writer to Storyteller. But better still – I get to hang out with the Apple folks and check out the new bits and pieces. So back to the MAC.
