What a fantastic time I had yesterday at the Apple Distinguished Educators retreat at the Australian Museum here in Sydney – and what those guys can do with a MAC is amazing. It was really lovely just to hang out with the folks (they are still enjoying two more days of MACing) and hear their stories of what they are doing with the MACs in their schools. Some absolutely wonderful education programmes are happening in all sorts of schools.

I was a guest speaker (everyone else was an Apple office bod). I was asked to chat on the creative side of things, the business of authoring – of taking the writer to the storyteller! and here are a few piccies of me in flight!!!!

and while I was speaking what was heppening? I was being tweeted! I never thought that anyone would want to tweet me but … they did!
Of course a day at the retreat also meant attending the cocktail party last night – surrounded by dinosaur bones in the museum. Thanks to all the folks who made me feel so welcome and wanted to know more!
And thanks especially to Rob and Annie for inviting me.
Oh yes — the NEW MAC is something to see! Oh Blimey!
