Last Thursday was Speech Day for Cheng Chek Chee Secondary School in Hong Kong, the school that we visited last year which is named after my grandfather. I was once again delighted to be able to provide a prize (signed and chopped copies of a few of my books) for the student who shows greatest writing promise.
And last night I received an email with this photo so … Congratulations to Tam Wai Yin for receiving the prize in the Speech Day. The award was presented by Mr Ho Koon Shun who is a former primary school principal and is now serving as the manager of the Incorporated Management Committee of the school.
One of these years I hope to be able to make the graduation ceremony and actually present the prize myself. That would be a great thrill.
