Thanks Linsay

Yesterday afternoon I tripped into the Tea Rooms at the Queen Vic building in Sydney to attend the farewell afternoon tea for my wonderful publisher Linsay Knight at Random House. Linsay has been a bedrock of the industry. Nearly as long as my books have been out there Linsay has been part of my bookshelf, either as a publishing colleague or more recently as my Publisher at Random House, but always as a friend. It has always been a joy hanging out with Linsay.
Along with the delightful Mark Macleod and Belinda Bolliger (who were also at the afternoon tea) Linsay has been working on developing great Australian kids writers and giving us a voice and getting us out there. She championed Sounds Spooky and look what that has done!

with Colin Thompson & in the background John Flanagan

So Linsay, heaps of thanks. Now for a new page in your non-corporate life.
