New York, New York – Day 4

Are we having fun yet? You betcha we are!
We needed a lazy morning – and it was. A late rise before we ventured out into the sunshine. But first we waited for our lovely friend Judith who came up from DC, just to spend some time with us. Yeah!
Today was another stroll down to Times Square where we came across an amazing electronic billboard. A close look at the piccies below will show us (Bini is waving in one of the photos). Okay so it requires a very close look but we are there …

We are easier to see in this one:

Our stroll continued up to MoMA (Museum of Modern Art) and we could have spent all day on the top floor with works from Dali, Picasso, Rousseau, and so many more. Just LOVED this! Here are a few snaps of the works we spied:

Of course there were a few more obscure pieces too … like this one that looks like two rather large elephant turds …

but then this is just brilliant – and features ME (taking the photo).

And just to prove that we were there:

┬áMoMA done (had fun in the gift shop too) it was time for dinner and tonight’s feasting was again in Times Square, this time at Red Lobster …

Manhattan Chowder and salad

Pineapple Shrimp and Calamari

Lobster, garlic shrimp and more…

Waiting to see some of the SCBWI gang arriving tomorrow. Looking forward sooo much to the Winter Conference.
More fun tomorrow.

One Response to New York, New York – Day 4

  1. Hey Chris. Looks like you and Bini are having a great time in NYC. That place is fantastic. You have to check out the Strand Bookstore (on Broadway in the East Village). Always go there when I’m in town. Enjoying reading the blog and your seeing your piccys – even what you guys are are eating! Best, GG
