So Wednesday morning, about 8am (sydney time), after I watched my wife drive off to work I finally (we had a few technical glitches) got to connect with Katie Davis – the wonderful creator of the famtasmagorical blog / podcast Brain Burps about Books. Hey, if you like what Katie creates you can even subscribe to it from the blog page or through iTunes … and you should.

Katie says that she is a Writerpreneur, an author and illustrator but she should also add that she is a terrific friend too!! We don’t see each other often enough.

We chat about AFCC, SCBWI Bologna, my books:- Python, Sounds Spooky and Water … I even got to mention some of the fun zoo things that happened too (toilet humour here as Katie goes urgh!) I love the laid back relaxed and casual talking we get to do!
More on the Carolinas later but Pam Vaughan (official photographer for the New England conference last weekend) has just sent me oodles and poodles of photos … so if you don’t want to see piccies of me in action – then look away now! There are photos of me with friends, of me panelling, photos […]
