Python Holiday Fun

Thanks to the wonderful Claire Stuckey, the singing librarian for Gosford City Library who sent to me these photos of their July School Holiday activities.

Claire writes: “School holidays are great, lots of children and families in the library. To celebrate CBC (Children’s Book Council) we planned a python program just for you! Here are some photos of our diorama made by 15 youngsters today! The children had great fun, many loved the baby snakes breaking out of the eggs and the python we made from circular paper. Apart from the diorama we made two other pythons, one from concertina paper and the other bright metallic mosaics. Many families stayed overtime to finish their works of art.”

Gosford City Library is a magical place and the Children’s and Young Adults Crew who create these wonderful activities are the magical creators! They do create magic there – I know!

Thanks Claire and thanks to the Python creators. I just love seeing creations like this.
