A Night with the Salisbury Seagulls

Thank you Ernie Bond – Professor at Salisbury University (children’s literature and Chair of the Teacher Education Department at Salisbury University) for arranging me to chit chat with some of the pre-service teachers at the university. What fun! He asked┬áme to talk about my favourite subject – ME! How hard is that? I spoke to Ernie’s crew a bunch of years ago (was it really 9 years ago?) and last year when I met Ernie in Australia with some of his Children’s Literature students when they were touring the kids book scene in OZ he asked me when I was returning to the Salisbury shores.

Now it is done! And there were three classes who attended that gathering as well. Look forward to the follow up questions from the students.

After talking for an hour (I needed way ay more time), answering questions, and signing books it was then time to feast at the local Irish Pub – with a band playing not-too-loud Irish music! yeah! And this is not me photobombing the band …

So look forward to coming back to Salisbury for longer than a one night stand.

  1. It is always a pleasure to have you visit the cultural capital of the USA. The students were wowed by your brilliance. One of the classes has started posting about you on their blog https://childrenslitblog.wordpress.com/2015/01/16/christopher-cheng/#comments
